Brandon Hobson

Brandon Hobson is the acclaimed literary author of The Removed, Where the Dead Sit Talking, Desolation of Avenues Untold, and the novella Deep Ellum. Hobson has been a contender for the National Book Award, the Aspen Words Literary Prize, the International Dublin Literary Award, and the St. Francis College Literary Prize, and is a winner of the Reading the West Book Award, among other accolades. The Storyteller is Hobson’s middle-grade debut. He is an assistant professor of creative writing at New Mexico State University and teaches in the MFA program at the Institute of American Indian Arts. Hobson is an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation Tribe of Oklahoma.
